Instructions on using save files for GTA III:

1. Download any save file from game beginning).
2. Use WinZip or some similar tool to extract file.
3. Copy GTA3sf1.b file to GTA3 save folder
4. Start your GTA3 game and load first save game.

Game save directory location:

WIN7/VISTA: C:\Users\NAME\Documents\GTA3 User Files\
WINXP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\GTA3 User Files\

For brand new game installation:

If you have a brand new game installation (which means you didn't play game before using downloaded savegame), it is recommended to start the game, and exit right after the first mission starts.
Do it before following the instructions above. This method will create necessary files within the game save directory.
